Dangerous Journey

The plans that Britain and some smaller nations had worked out to forestall the war were endangered by one man—Kurt Von Romain, a German agent with impeccable cover. 

In London, Sir Robert Holt, chief of British intelligence, was given the task of stopping him from getting out of England. Holt, in turn, passed the job on to Bruce Murdoch and Mary Dell.

Their first attempt to capture him is wrecked by an unexpected storm, and Romain disappears. 

And so they begin a desperate search, first in England and then in Europe. 

As they move after their quarry, intent on either killing or capturing him, danger is their constant companion.
